Program Overview

The Foreign Language Didactics program is divided into three semesters of teaching to be validated (by the student) by the acquisition of 30 credits (for each semester) and a 4th semester in the form of a practical internship culminated by an internship report or an end-of-study dissertation to be presented before a jury.

This proposed program takes into account several parameters including the entry profile of students in Master1 and their exit profile in Master2, the objectives of the training and the diversification in the content to be taught.

Indeed, the subjects are structured into fundamental units important to the specialty such as written and oral didactics, didactic theories and approaches and socio-didactics, FLE didactics and intercultural didactics, etc.

These subjects follow one another from S1 to S3 following the performance of the student who is supposed to develop their skills from general to specific knowing that several sub-specialties are offered, namely the didactics of texts, that of programs, manuals, etc.

This program also contains methodological units such as research methodology, discourse analysis, curriculum study and teaching and learning through multimedia etc. They aim to provide the student with tools and means to develop different educational sheets and to design their end-of-study dissertations from a structural and analytical point of view.

The discovery units allow the student to be supported in their training by facilitating access to documentation through the English language and translation.

The transversal units also play an important role in the transfer of knowledge and skills that they provide to the student between the different specialties (computer science and economics) and the teaching of foreign languages. It is therefore a cognitive bridge between different forms of knowledge in the era of artificial intelligence and training that is not only academic but much more professional and profitable.

Teaching Language : The French language.
