Curriculum Highlights

Core Courses

4. Core Program: Training for Obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering over Three Years.

After completing the first year of study in Process Engineering, the student will acquire knowledge in exact sciences and other fields that will enable them to understand the specific knowledge required for Process Engineering. This foundation also prepares them to take on the following year’s program and advance to the second year to further enhance and solidify their technical skills. This is achieved through a set of educational units as follows:

First Year Educational Units:

Core Unit:

Mathematics 1

Physics 1

Structure of Matter

Methodological Unit:

Practical Physics 1

Practical Chemistry 1

Computer Science 1

Writing Methodology

Exploratory Unit:

Careers in Science and Technology 1

Cross-disciplinary Unit:

Ethical and Deontological Dimension

Foreign Language 1 (French or English)

After completing the second year of study in Process Engineering, the student will acquire further knowledge in exact sciences and other fields, which will enhance their ability to absorb specific knowledge in Process Engineering. This will prepare them for the third year, where they will strengthen and consolidate their technical skills, and deepen their understanding of the specialized knowledge of Process Engineering. The third year completes the Bachelor's degree through a set of educational units as follows:

Second Year Educational Units:

Core Unit:

Mathematics 2

Physics 2

Thermodynamics

Methodological Unit:

Practical Physics 2

Practical Chemistry 2

Computer Science 2

Presentation Methodology

Exploratory Unit:

Careers in Science and Technology

Cross-disciplinary Unit:

Foreign Language 1 (French and/or English)

After completing the third year of study in Process Engineering, the student will deepen their knowledge in exact sciences and the specific scientific subjects related to Process Engineering. Thanks to the knowledge gained in the previous two years, the student will be ready to absorb specialized knowledge in Process Engineering and master research methodologies, preparing them for the next stage of study—Master’s level. This will be achieved through a set of educational units as follows:

Third Year Educational Units:

First Core Unit:

Mathematics 3

Waves and Vibrations

Second Core Unit:

Fluid Mechanics

Inorganic Chemistry

Methodological Unit:

Probability and Statistics

Computer Science 3
